This patient is a heavy grinder who presented with heavily worn teeth that included the loss of the majority of the enamel. His teeth were short due to the wear and largely discolored overtime. Without intervention in a timely fashion, this patient would likely have lost some teeth due to the heavy wear eventually affecting the nerves of those teeth. The patient understood that a full mouth reconstruction was the only viable option to improve the bite, health, and esthetics. We moved forward initially to help restore the patient's upper arch and give him the smile he wanted. It was ...

This patient came to us after about 20 years of not seeing the dentist due to having anxiety and fear over going to the dentist. On my initial consult with the patient, I could see the anxiety he had just from sitting in the chair. The patient mentioned that he neglected his teeth for many years and that his dental problems were getting so severe that he needed to take action now. Upon examining the patient's teeth, it was evident that all the upper teeth he had were infected, severely decayed, or loose. The patient was experiencing alot of sensitivity ...

This patient initially presented to Dr. Elkhechen with the concern that his teeth looked very short and dark. This patient was 78 years old and had done considerable damage to his teeth over the years due to excessive grinding which resulted in severe wear which cause the teeth to appear very short. The patient was very adamant that he wanted to try and keep his teeth. The patient's teeth were VERY close to not being salvagable. The patient understood he needed a full mouth reconstruction in order to give him any chance of keeping his teeth for any length of ...

This patient came to our office and her main concern was that she was very unhappy with her smile. The patient did not like the crowding in her upper teeth and how several teeth in the front were different colors. We did some cosmetic work on the four upper front teeth to give the patient the beautiful smile she wanted. The patient was ecstatic!

This patient came to the office with one of her biggest complaints being that she didn't like her front teeth because they were discolored. The patient had large existing fillings on her two front teeth that were failing. Also, her front 4 teeth did not have correct proportions of length to width, which made them a natural appearance. In order to help fix the problem of the two front teeth with large failing fillings and create the proper proportions and dimensions for a beautiful and natural smile, we placed 4 crowns on the upper front 4 teeth

This patient's main concern when she first came into the office was that she did not like how dark her front tooth was compared to the rest. In addition, the patient had never whitened her teeth before and felt like they used to be whiter in the past. We first did in-office whitening on her until she was happy with the result and then we placed a crown on the front tooth that perfectly matched her newly whitened teeth. What a big change for the patient!

Here is an example of a patient who overall has teeth and gums that are in good shape, but as you can see has some decay on a few of the front teeth and a chipped front tooth. The patient wasn't happy with the darkness of the front teeth due to the decay and the chipped front tooth. The patient already had some large existing fillings present on the front teeth. We had to place two crowns on the front teeth to preserve the strength. A tooth colored filling was placed on the lateral incisor to finish the smile due ...

Here is a very young patient who is about 18 years old. This very nice patient had just finished with braces and was happy with the alignment of her teeth, but the patient had a very common formation on her upper lateral teeth called peg laterals. Peg laterals are when the lateral incisors form in a way where they are proportionally much smaller than the other teeth surrounding them which creates a less desirable smile for patients due to esthetics. You can see the peg laterals present in the before picture on this patient. The patient was given a few ...

Here is one of our Invisalign Patients who was unhappy with her smile before coming to see us due to spacing in between her front tooth and her lateral incisor. In addition, her lateral incisor was rotated and pushed outward slightly. With just 6 weeks of Invisalign treatment, we were able to align her upper teeth and give the patient the smile she wanted!
This patient had come to me after 4 years of knowing her personally. She confided in me that she suffered from bulimia for many years prior. Bulimia is a debilitating disease and if it occurs for a substantial period of time, destroys the back of your upper teeth because the acid from vomiting erodes the healthy enamel away. The patient became very concerned when she started noticing that her two front teeth on the top were becoming shorter than the rest and she could tell they were eroding away. I really wanted to help her get her self-esteem and confidence ...

Here is a front view of the pictures present immediately above. Look at the difference between the "after" photos where the teeth appear completely revitalized from the destruction and acidic wear present on the "Before" pictures!
This patient was a 25 year old sweet, shy girl when she first came to the office and met Dr. Elkhechen. The patient was very unhappy and uncomfortable with her smile. The patient stated "I am so embarrassed of my teeth and I am not happy because I don't want to smile. I want to be able to smile again." As you can see in the "Before" picture, the patient had small, discolored teeth with a chalky appearance, a very deep overbite, and uneven gum levels. In order to give the patient the smile she had been wanting for a ...
This is the exact same patient as the previous "Before and After" picture except this is taken from more of a side view to show the incredible difference a beautiful smile can make. After the treatment, at a followup visit, the patient was asked how she felt? Her response was, "Having this beautiful smile feels like a dream."
This patient came to our office with multiple complaints. You can see in her before picture that her lower teeth were VERY dark due to tetracycline staining. She had worn down a lot of her back teeth due to grinding, had a lot of crowding on her lower teeth, and uneven edges of her upper front teeth. The patient was never thrilled about the way her teeth looked and we performed a smile transformation in order to improve the look of her teeth and to restore the function of her teeth due to the worn teeth in the back. This ...
Pay attention to how crowded the lower teeth are in this before/after picture where the upper and lower teeth are separated. Notice the greatly improved alignment of the lower teeth in the after photo!
This patient first presented to the office and told Dr. Elkhechen that she had a tooth in the front that was very loose and she was terrified that the tooth would fall out suddenly and then she wouldn't be able to smile. The tooth that appears to be hanging down much lower than the rest in the "Before" picture had to be removed due to severe gum disease. At the very same appointment, we did some cosmetic work on the other front teeth and she left with temporary teeth so she could smile without having a gap in the front. ...

This patient came into our office missing many of her teeth and was very embarrassed to smile. She also had alot of problems chewing food due to not having any back teeth. The remainder of her upper teeth were not salvagable. The patient was given all possible options and she decided to remove the remainder of her upper teeth, have implants placed, and have teeth snap into the implants. After the patient got her teeth, she was much happier that she could smile without feeling self-concious!

This patient presented with the complaint that she does not like her smile. She mentioned that she didn't like the fact that she was not able to see much of her teeth when she smiled and she did not like how dark her teeth are. The patient had what we call "A reverse smile" in dentistry. A reverse smile is when the upper front teeth do not come down to meet the lower lip when a patient smiles. This creates a disruption in the continuity in a person's smile which leaves many people unsatisified with the esthetics of their smile. ...

This patient presented to the office with multiple concerns regarding her smile. She was unhappy with the crowding of her upper teeth and how the canine was sticking out on her upper left side. Patient also had some crowns done on the upper 4 front teeth many years ago and was not happy with how unnatural and discolored they appeared. In addition, the patient has a very narrow upper arch and the back teeth originally flare inward which makes the front teeth appear more prominent and crowded. Therefore, we planned on brightening up the teeth to get rid of all ...

This patient presented with the main concern of really not liking her smile and how dark her teeth are. We discussed options and the patient wanted to really transform her smile so she could be happy everytime she smiles! We planned her smile transformation out and did some cosmetic dentistry by placing some ceramics over her teeth. The patient was extremely happy to see the final result and is constantly smiling!
This patient had come to our office with main concern that he was very unhappy and embarassed about his smile. The patient did not like the discolored tooth in the front and the fact that he had large gaps in between the front teeth. The patient stated, "I hardly ever smile and it's difficult for me because I like to joke around, but I don't feel like doing it much because of my teeth." It was heartbreaking to hear the patient say that. In order to give the patient the beautiful smile he wanted, we placed a couple crowns and ...

Pt is a young guy who initially came to the office and stated that he doesn't like the gap he has in between two teeth. Patient stated that he never felt comfortable with the gap, but never really tried to address it because he wasn't sure what options were available. Once the patient realized that we could do some very conservative bonding veneers that required NO removal of tooth structure and that it would require no anesthetic, the patient was ecstatic. The treatment was completed within 45 minutes and the patient was very happy as it was natural and you ...
This patient had multiple esthetic concerns for a long time that included discoloration of the front tooth, spacing in between the two front teeth, and proportionally smaller upper lateral incsiors. The patient never committed to treatment in the past because she was afraid about the final outcome might look like and how invasive the procedure might be. Listening very closely to the patient, I came up with a treatment option that would take care of the patient's esthetic concerns in one appointment, without cutting into her teeth. We placed 4 veneers using tooth colored filling material on the upper front ...

This patient had some trauma to his upper front teeth when he was younger and the nerve in one of his upper front teeth ended up dying which left the tooth very dark and discolored. The patient was 19 years old when he had the accident. In just one hour in the dental chair, the patient had a brand new outlook on smiling when he saw his new tooth for the first time. The patient stated, "Wow, that looks great! I had that dark tooth for 25 years and never smiled fully." The patient had a huge smile as he ...

This patient came to Dr. Elkhechen with the main concern that he didn't have many teeth left and was having trouble chewing. The patient also mentioned that he became more aware of his situation because his grandson kept asking him "Why don't you have any teeth grandpa?" The patient stated that it was embarrasing to hear that from his grandson. We told the patient that we really wanted to help him regain his chewing ability and give him a smile he could feel great about. After giving the patient his upper denture, he could not believe the difference. The patient ...
This patient presented as an emergency appointment because she suddenly broke one of her front teeth and felt very self-concious because of it. The tooth that broke was so badly broken that it had to be removed. The same day we removed the tooth, we placed a temporary tooth so the patient wouldn't have to feel embarrased about smiling. When we removed the broken tooth, we also placed a dental implant and allowed that to heal for the next 3 months while the patient had a temporary tooth in place. Once the implant was ready, we placed a beautiful new ...
This patient presented to the office with very badly decayed teeth in the front and stated, "I never smile anymore because I'm embarrassed about how bad my teeth have gotten." We really wanted to help him regain his self-esteem back by giving him a beautiful smile. The very badly broken teeth were removed and on the same day, the patient walked out of the office with beautiful temporary teeth. Several weeks later, the patient returned to the office to replace his temporary teeth with the beautiful, new porcelain bridge you see on the "After" shot. The immediate shift in the ...
Patient initially presented to the office with a missing front tooth on the upper arch. Patient wore a removable partial denture for many years to act as a replacement for that front tooth but hated the partial denture because it was very bulky and unnatural . Patient stated that his main concern is that he wants to have a great smile and that he rarely smiles because he really doesn't like what he sees and is self- concious about it. Patient did not have any bone available for an implant and the patient specifically stated that he did not want ...

Invisalign is a great way to help patients address concerns that involve things like straightening teeth, closing gaps, etc....while being more convenient that traditional braces because no one can even tell that you are wearing them. This patient was unhappy when she first presented to the office because she felt like the spacing in between the two upper front teeth was large and did not look good. The patient wanted to close this space in the front a little bit more but was not willing to go through traditional braces to get there. The patient went through Invisalign and had ...

This patient came to our Loxahatchee dentist office with many different concerns and dental problems especially on his upper teeth. He had some broken teeth that could not be saved, teeth that were really brittle, teeth that were too small, gums that were very uneven when he smiled, etc.....The patient has always been aware that he has not been happy with his smile, but recently had become very self-concious of his smile. In order to give the patient the smile of his dreams, we performed a smile transformation through a full mouth reconstruction. The patient was amazed and very grateful ...
