Groves Dental Care is excited to announce something really special! We are walking in the annual Buddy Walk for our friend Chloe!
The Buddy Walk, now called the Down Right Extraordinary Walk, is held annually and started 25 years ago to promote the abilities of people with Down syndrome. The walk started with a small group of 60 people and a quarter-century later, the walk has grown into an event that attracts over 2000 people.
The walk largely supports the programs of the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization. The Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization is a proactive, dynamic support group to all people who have Down syndrome and their families. Their purpose is to empower parents of Down syndrome children, pursue inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome in all areas of life so they can be valued members of society, dispel myths and promote positive awareness of people with Down syndrome and to advocate and defend the human and civil rights of all persons with Down syndrome.
Our team at Groves Dental Care is so proud and honored to help support a wonderful organization and we hope you do too! Please follow the link below to register for the annual Down Right Extraordinary Walk and to help us support such a worthy cause!
And please stay tuned for all our pictures from our day and we look forward to seeing all of you there!
